Our Mission

There are more good books than you have time to read. Editors Reads exists to solve that problem. We provide rigorous, honest, and practically-focused reviews so that when you pick up a book, you can be confident it's worth your time.

Our Review Process

Every book reviewed on Editors Reads is read in full by our editorial team. We evaluate each title on four criteria:

• Practicality — Can you apply the ideas today?
• Depth — Is the advice backed by research or rigorous thinking?
• Durability — Will this advice still apply in 10 years?
• Readability — Is it a pleasure to read?

We combine our editorial assessment with Amazon aggregate ratings (where available) to produce a composite score out of 5.

Editorial Independence

Editors Reads accepts no payment from publishers, authors, or publicists for positive coverage. We purchase all books ourselves or receive unsolicited review copies — but in either case, our editorial judgment is entirely independent.
